Vintage Phat 80's Claps-Tama Techstar 204

On a dark and stormy night, I spent the evening holed up with a vintage synth percussion unit, a single Roland trigger pad, Rupert Neve Designs Passive DI and an Apollo X interface.

I went down the rabbit hole, twisting knobs and hitting that trigger pad getting the best, cleanest samples I could from a Vintage Tama TS204 Drum Synth. It was truly a scary night.

Parsing through hundreds of recorded hits at different settings I have found the best of the best out of this machine, specifically the hand clap sounds.

Some processed, some raw, all really cool.
